Piña Coladas and the Golden Nugget pool

It's a weird world I'm in right now. I'm back in Vegas for the second time in about three months - staying at the same hotel, will be playing the same theatre, but different show, different people. But right now, I'm the only one in town. The rest of the group is traveling in today, and even if they were here, I haven't met them yet. Because of that, I feel like I may still be here with Shrek. We spent many hours at this pool, that's for certain. It's more crowded this time, and definitely more hot, but the rest of it just feels a little eery. I have some of my favorite memories from the Shrek show here. We sold out the entire week at the Smith Center, I bought new dresses for every day of the week, I couldn't stay away from the outlet shops (I was not alone in this), Chase came to town to surprise the group, some of my best pals from home came to visit, Lukey was always game to gamble, I had the best late night chat with Tony and Luke, the Tompkins girls were in love with the slide at the pool, Micah played the most ridiculous game in the pool and Chase, Andy, Brodes and I actually played along, no hour was too early for Fran, Suz, Tiffani or Alison to be at the pool, Perry and John gambled their lives away on NCAA March Madness, our crew was happy and got to enjoy themselves after the hardest February ever, Garrett freakin' jumped off the Stratosphere.... And that is just a few. Those are the things that make me miss those crazy Shrekkies a ton right now. Because there are few things they love more than the opportunity to day drink and enjoy the sun, and that is what half of Vegas seems to be doing right now. ;)

I can't wait for the IDIOTS to get here. Time to start a new chapter.
