Just a little something to show where we are until I get the energy to post about this week...
A little piece of WV memories, in Breezewood, PA (on a lunch stop). Don't worry, I had the turkey wrap, per usual.
This was the first view I saw out of my hotel window. Not too shabby. This is also sunset and we had just pulled into town. SO TIRED and I still had to go to work.
In the hall outside my office at the Schuster. Such memories! For some reason, I hadn't signed this one, but it is from my tour.
My daytime view from my hotel room
I like a theatre that makes it clear where I'm supposed to be.
I. Am. Obsessed. This is a block from the hotel and across the street from the theatre.
The lobby of the Schuster. So great!! The theatre was built in (I think) 2003, so that Dayton was able to accommodate big shows. This season, they have Jersey Boys and Wicked (among others) and us -- we have a huge set and tons of STUFF. Big, big show.
I'm on the 9th floor and have a great view of downtown. I may or may not have worked from this position all morning.
The fantastic Joe Deer (professor at Wright State and a frequent director at WVPT) has a regular talk back session before the shows that come in. It was so great to see him!
A little bit of Young Frankenstein swag, on the bar at the theatre restaurant.
The outside of the Schuster!
