Home for 2 weeks = PINTREST TIME!

I'm sure it comes as no shock that, generally, on tour, we do not have the luxury of kitchens. So when I'm home, I like to Pintrest my life away and try the random things I come upon. Particularly this go round, when I'm feeling so jet lagged that I have the energy for absolutely nothing.

One attempt was a big, fat, failure. Have you ever seen this recipe on Pintrest? Its supposed to come out looking similar to this:

Mine came out looking like....

Here's the deal: I don't know where this was or what kind of oven she was using, but 400 degrees for 1 hour was MUCH too long. I think they would have actually been done after 30 minutes. So keep that in mind. I was so over it by the time I pulled them out CHARRED that I didn't even try again.

This recipe, however, was MAGIC. And it was so so so easy, I can't even tell you. I forgot to take an "after" photo, but it was perfect and delicious.

I don't think its a recipe you could leave in the crockpot all day. You could certainly TRY, but I think it would dry out. But for a Saturday afternoon or an evening where you could watch it for 4 hours, its wonderful. I'm kinda weird about carving meat off of a bone, but this is no biggie - it literally falls off the bone when you touch it.

Well, that's all the Pintrest for today. We will return to tour photos in a couple weeks :)
